Move through fear and into the faith you need to pursue your dreams
A wise man once said that our life is truest when we are in our dreams wide awake. What kinds of dreams lie dormant in your heart? If you have not pursued your dreams because you think you would need a miracle to see it happen, you may get the miracle only after you take steps of faith toward your goals. For most women, the desire to start a business begins with a dream. You cannot start something without dreaming about it or visualizing it first. Then comes making it a reality and pursuing its fullest success and excellence.
All of us have business potential and all of us can succeed. What sets people apart is the fact that some work hard to make… their dreams come true and others continue dreaming without taking action. When starting out in business, you need to be prepared to work hard, have faith and be persistent. Business success without these 3 factors is almost impossible.
Fear is what makes most people quit, give up, or not start at all. Many of us have the right success mentality when we start out. For some people, it might take a month to see real progress, for others it may take years. It is your persistence and faith that will see you through. If your business is not making the profits you expected do not give up! Stick to it and continue working on it.
So, how do we move through fear and into the faith we need to pursue our dreams?
Have Faith.
There is nothing wrong with dreaming big, in fact that is the only way to dream. Often our big dreams seem impossible to attain. Maybe you are faced with time restrictions, financial challenges, or family responsibilities that keep you from pursuing your passion. There are likely going to be many times that feel so discouraging you just want to let go and give up. That is the time to dig deep, find your faith and persevere. Whether your faith is based on yourself or a higher power, if you can just hold on, you are going to overcome the obstacles and move forward.
Take Action.
Your actions are the backbone of the success of your business. Proactive people will go further than those who choose to live in reactive mode. People who take action seize the opportunities that come their way. They look at different situations as either a stepping stone or a means to an end. Taking action means that you work hard every single day to move in the direction of your dream.
Fight fear with faith. Stay motivated. Continue to trust. These are some of the necessary fundamentals that will take you and your business where you want to go.
